Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.
Bill was an interesting and jovial guy. Loved aviation and all of the elements of conquering the sky. I will miss Bill moving forward.

Dad gave me so much, my LOVE of flying was just the tip of it, Dad was a Firefighter and I put 21 years into the Fire Dept. Dad loved to fish and well as my Family will tell you I am pretty good at it myself. Dad loved baseball and I was an award winning softball player, (catcher). Dad drove school bus and I retired from the corporate world after 32 years and I am now driving school bus. This list could go on for ever but the most of all; I learned a joke or two...LOL I will so miss his HUGS!!! Dad got his wings back and he is truly soaring the skies once again....LOVE YOU!

Always a gentleman, a quintessential scholar of,and a legend in aviation, and a very good friend; Bill flew actively for 64 years accumulating well over 50,000hours of flight time. We last flew together in early June of 2016,and, as always, Bill shared his extensive knowledge of flying as well as his endless repertoire of jokes. He has touched the lives of everyone that he knew in a positive way and will live on in our memories.

If all of us (family and friends) were to gather together to share "Bill" aka Dad/Poppy stories and reminisce I think we would all agree that we would be talking for days. The stories wouldn't be boastful but factual and fun as we would need to share a few jokes as well. Dad was a real people person full of respect for others while expecting nothing less from them. He was an extremely fair man. He was blessed as he woke up everyday doing just what he loved, flying and sharing his knowledge of flying. He was dedicated to his family and friends. He was so very proud of his grandkids; DJ, Patrick, Sami, Corlynn, Shannon and Kevin. He instilled in us his strong work ethic which has proven beneficial to us all. He was kind and generous to many. His sense of humor was boundless. He looked forward to sharing new jokes as well as the favorites. Dad taught us all so much and as he embraced life each day he would want us all to strive for the same. God Bless You Dad Until We Meet Again. Love, Laura
