Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.
I have so many memories with my grandmother... some were good, like painting together, her teaching me to play the piano, and making silly scarecrows. Others weren't so good... like her chasing me with a wooden spoon because I misbehaved or when I got caught stealing something and she made me write the 10 commandments 100 times each (in cursive)... but she never told mom and dad! She was good at keeping things just between us... like the when she'd give me ice cream for breakfast, or let me eat crumbs that were supposed to go on top of the Apple pie, or make me cake mix to eat raw! Other memories make me laugh, like when she did the slip and slide with me or when we made each other up like clowns. Grammy was always there for me and I cherish the memories I have with her. What I think means the most though, is that my girls got to know their Great Grammy. All the time they got to spend with her in the last few years meant so much to all of us! I'm sad that they never got to know their Poppy, but now that Grammy has joined him in heaven, she can share all of the good times she spent with Riley and Katelyn... and together they can look down on them and watch over all of us. The link here shares a slideshow of some pictures I compiled. Love you Grammy!

Mom was amazing in many, many ways. She was loving and yet a firm guiding hand when I needed it. She always seemed to know what to do no matter what. She and Dad gave me a happy childhood and you can't recover from that! Thanks Mom! I'll always miss you.
